Accountability Meetup Every Wednesday

In partnership with the Sierra SBDC is offering a weekly Accountability Meetup for entrepreneurs.  Facilitated by Sierra Commons Executive Director Robert Trent, these meetups are designed to keep business owners focused on the path to ongoing success.

The American Society of Training and Development found that people are 65 percent more likely to meet a goal after committing to another person. Their chances of success increase to 95 percent when they build in ongoing meetings with their partners to check in on their progress.

The meetings are casual yet serious, and of course fun. Feel free to eat your lunch however chewing with your mouth open is discouraged.

Meeting Format:

10 minutes -  Highs and lows (victories and struggles)

15 minutes - three questions

  • Your big goal

  • What did you commit to last week?

  • Did I accomplish this?

20 minutes - Hot Seat

  • One or two specific  people

15 minutes - Everybody speaks

  • What are you committing to by next week?

  • What is your most important next step?
