Audio Visual technicians set up, operate, and maintain equipment. They may record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes.

  • Sets up, test, capture, edit and distribute event content
  • Strong Internet and social media skills
  • Familiarity with digital video file formats and editing systems
  • Ability and experience setting up and operating audio-visual equipment
  • Create and maintain documentation for in-house AV systems
  • Recommend purchases
  • Create podcasts
  • Upload content to Sierra Commons WordPress site.

Position requires some night and weekend hours as dictated by the event schedule, approximately 15 hours each week.
