The Sierra Business Council, as part of its Sierra Nevada Energy Watch program, will be offering a FREE three day workshop on energy auditing skills for individuals/businesses in small and medium-sized commercial facilities (under 500kW).  The workshop will be held in Auburn from April 14-16.

According to the SBC website and the Workshop flier, the focus of the workshop is to help identify retrofitting opportunities that would help reduce overall energy usage and increase efficiency.  For businesses and entrepreneurs, this would mean a long-term reduction of energy costs and well as a lower carbon footprint.

The topics covered in the workshop will include measurement tools/techniques, energy savings and financial calculations, building technologies, etc.  It will include several in-class exercises and a mock-audit.  For information on how to register as well as contact information, check out the Workshop flier.
