Come to Sierra Commons on February 14th. The opening will be from 3:30 to 6 pm at Sierra Commons, where Chris’ art has been gracing the walls for several weeks. Come meet the artist and have a few refreshments. You may want to check out the parking lot at the Stonehouse before the opening for some artist-in-action action. Familiar yet different. Each of Chris’ pieces are creatively bold and always unique expressions of familiar sights. His current collection of whimsical and colorful cityscapes have a clever way of suggesting a view while inviting you to use your own creativity and imagination as you explore what you see. His images emerge from the canvas with the many layers of bold colors and architectural elements – revealing hints of deep color and form below. His art pieces are generally large in size and impact — making a daring statement in any space.
