Expansion and new members @ Sierra Commons

Sierra Commons, continuing to pick up some serious steam, has just expanded its office into the adjoining space on the third floor of the Stonehouse.  The new space adds around a hundred square feet of office space, a kitchen and an extra bathroom, which gives us an even bigger platform to support emerging businesses.  And feed them.  Currently, the space features some art from our newly featured local artist, Chris Duccini (more here), and some open desk space for new members.

Speaking of which, Sierra Commons is happy to welcome its two newest members, Pat and Stacy Butler of the Nevada City Advocate.   Pat is the founder, publisher, and editor of the Advocate and writes for their opinion column, My View, in which he recently praised Sierra Commons.  The Advocate is a free weekly news and entertainment newspaper, focusing primarily on Nevada County.  Feel free to check out their website if you haven’t already.
