I don’t usually get too rowdy in public, but several times in the past couple years I’ve found myself at odds with Nevada City bartenders. Why? Because I wanted to watch the President speak on TV.
Tonight is the State of the Union, and this time I have an alternative. I’ll be picking up drinks early, and watching the speech from the comfort of Sierra Commons’ conference room, on the big screen. Come hang with me and other Sierra Commoners. Speech starts at 6; come early if you need to numb yourself in advance.
I plan to stay for the GOP response from Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. Hopefully by then I’ll have done some numbing. See you there.
