Sierra Commons

The Exchange is hosting their first social of 2010, Wednesday, January 20, 5:30pm at Sierra Commons in Nevada City.  The guest speaker will be Duane Strawser, owner of Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop. Duane was instrumental in bringing the Amgen Tour of California to Nevada County. He is also the former president of the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce.

The Exchange is a social/business organization that meets monthly to create a conduit of information that encourages involvement in our community. It has a focus on a younger demographic of 20-40 year olds. They provide information on openings in government, non-profit volunteering and many other aspects of our community. They have speakers that are able to give insight into their organization, business or any other aspect that can better our community. The Exchange has been meeting since the fall of 2008.
